The teaball is a classic tool used to brew individual mugs of tea that has been used for generations of tea-drinkers. It is reuseable and does not waste paper. Cleaning is also easy--just rinse with water and hang to dry. The teaball can also be washed in the dishwasher, but rinse the leaves out first so they don't clog up your machine.
The nature of a teaball is such that a few tiny bits of tea leaves always escape into your mug when brewing. If this is a problem for you, try bending the clip that holds it closed a tiny bit to hold a tighter seal. If you really can't stand leaves in your tea (some people are just really offended by this), try using the Multipurpose Mesh Strainer or the Single-Use Filterbags instead.
Use to make a single cup of tea, or brew up to three mugs in a pot with a large-sized teaball.
