You must click the "Checkout" button to check out. The button can be found in three places: at the bottom of your Shopping Cart pop-up window, at the top right of the page, and to the right of each item. This will take you to our secure checkout server.
First, choose which item to buy. Some items have more than one option available, such as coffees which are available either ground or whole bean. Make sure the correct option is selected by checking the circle to the left of the desired option. If you just want one of the item, then click "Add to Cart" to the right of the product's description. If you want buy more than one, then first enter the desired quantity into the Quantity box, and then click the "Add to Cart" button.
First, open your Shopping Cart by clicking any of the "View Cart" buttons on the right side of the page, or by clicking "View Cart Detail" in the red column on the left of the page. Then, simply click "Remove Item" next to the item you want to remove.
Simply enter the desired quantity into the Quantity box before clicking "Add to Cart".
You should remove the item from your cart and then re-add it, entering the correct quantity into the Quantity box before clicking "Add to Cart".
There's so many different kinds of coffee, it can seem a bit daunting! If you're really lost, please call us at (781)391-2255 and we will help you decide. Or, you could try one of the Sampler Boxes in the "Samplers and Kits" section of the website and try several types at once.
No, we cannot ship to any country except the USA and Canada. We can, however, ship to any USA Military base, even ones located overseas. In fact, we discount shipping to military bases quite a lot in order to make it easy for our armed forces to enjoy a little bit of luxury at an affordable price.
USA Orders: Orders received before noon on a business day are generally shipped that same day; other orders are shipped the following business day. We ship orders to USA customers via USPS Priority, which has a 1-3 day service standard (USPS delivers on Monday - Saturday), or UPS Ground, which has a service standard of 1-5 business days, not including the weekend (UPS delivers only Monday - Friday). We ship from Boston, MA, so orders to the West Coast will take the most time to arrive. PLEASE NOTE: We offer Priority Shipping Upgrade. Just select the Upgrade and your order will be guaranteed to ship USPS Priority Mail, unless it is undeliverable by that service. Otherwise, most orders that are heavy or are traveling more than a few states will go by UPS Ground. The difference in shipping price can be, for example, $32.00 by Priority Mail or $12.00 by UPS Ground, so to keep prices low we do need to consider UPS Ground as our default shipping carrier for any discount shipping, heavy or bulky orders.
Canada Orders: All Canadian orders are shipped in USPS Priority Flat Rate boxes. These have a shipping standard of 6-10 business days. We try to ship Canadian orders same-day, too, but sometimes the necessity of a customs form can cause an order to be delayed slightly.
We don't have an express shipping option on our site, but for special occasions that require next-day shipping or other exceptional considerations, you can call us at (781) 391-2255 to discuss what we can do for you. We will offer expedited USPS or UPS options for a fair price.

Shipping prices just keep rising every year, but we're doing our best to lessen the impact for you by introducing many free shipping and discount shipping offers. We actually discount shipping on the average order by 10-15%, meaning we see it as a marketing expense to keep shipping prices reasonable on every order despite carrier rate increases. We are always working on ways to save you money on shipping... note that we have many products in our catalog that have been designed to fit within a Priority Flat Rate box or otherwise make the most efficient use of the shipping dollar. On orders over $50, we discount your shipping. When you buy in quantities that are efficient for us to handle and pack, we pass the savings on to you.
Here's an important tip: Melanie, our ace shipping calculator programmer, has designed a shipping calculator that understands, by weight and volume, when an order will fit within a Flat Rate box, and therefore, save a customer money on heavy or long distance shipments. You may find for instance that if you select 3 bags of coffee to go to WA state, the shipping will likely be $8.95 (our discounted price for a $10.35 Flat Rate Medium box). If you add 5 or 6 more coffees, the shipping will remain at $8.95 because we are still filling that same Flat Rate box. So the shipping on those extra coffees is essentially "free". When you overfill that box, shipping will jump to the next level, usually another $4 - $5. So you may want to experiment with your order to see where the best economy in shipping is found. Or, call us! We will be happy to figure out the best shipping rate for you and adjust your order total appropriately.
